Donate At Your Camp 3


Overview

DAY Camp 3 is a challenge grant program intended to inspire and fund new ideas that will grow and sustain affiliated day camps. DAY Camp 3 follows other JCamp 180 challenges, which have helped overnight camps raise more than $70 million.
 

Key Guidelines

A sum of $35,000 will be set aside for each eligible camp. Gifts of $2,500 or more that meet all other grant requirements will be matched by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation at a 1:3 ratio. A maximum match of $11,667 per gift has been set. Please see the DAY Camp 3 Brochure for detailed guidelines and potential match calculations.
 

Effective Dates

  • Challenge Grant Start Date - January 1, 2016
  • Deadline for Securing Gifts - December 31, 2016
  • Deadline to Report Gifts - February 28, 2017
  • Deadline for Full Payment of Gifts - December 31, 2018
  • Deadline to Report Payment of Gifts - February 28, 2019

Administration / Grant Data Submission

The DAY Camp 3 program is administered by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation grants administration team using an on-line system.  All matching grant requests must be submitted through the online grant management system that can be access by clicking on this link.  The grant management system acknowledges all submissions by e-mail.  It is the responsibility of the submitter to assure that documentation has been received by JCamp 180.
