Overview
Meet Your Match 3.5 is a challenge grant program that ran from December 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. The program was intended to boost the efforts of newly affiliated camps to raise funds to improve their facilities and thereby enhance the Jewish camping experience. Meet Your Match 3 built on the success of recent JCamp 180 challenges that helped over 50 camps raise over $30 million since 2006.
Key Guidelines
A sum of $100,000 was set aside for each eligible* camp. Gifts of $10,000 or more made in support of capital improvements only and meeting all other grant requirements were matched by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation at a 1:3 ratio.
*Eligible camp: Formally accepted to JCamp 180 after September 1, 2007 with an assigned mentor.
