Coaching

JCamp 180 Coaching focuses on building personal and professional skills and strengths for Directors, Development Professionals, and Lay Leaders. Through renewable six-month engagements, an assigned JCamp 180 consultant will work with the client on a regular basis to define and work toward documented goals and expected outcomes. The consultant will listen, provide guidance/recommendations and resources from the JCamp 180 Knowledge Center, and act as an accountability partner.

While there is some natural overlap between coaching and relationship management, JCamp 180’s coaching services focus on individual progress towards specific agreed-upon goals/outcomes.

Camp 180 consulting services address key organizational development questions facing nonprofit Jewish overnight and day camps to help these camps thrive and meet their missions. We work with organizations throughout their life cycle, from start-up camps to centennial camps, from camps in movements to independent camps to tackle these questions.

JCamp 180 and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation have changed the landscape of Jewish Camp forever. Our institutions are stronger, our boards are more effective, there is more financial support of our programs and facilities, and our professional leaders are more skilled because of the investment that they have made in our field. This impact has been so poignant that it’s now difficult to imagine what might be today’s reality for Jewish Camps if not for Harold Grinspoon and the commitment he spawned. Most of the costs of JCamp 180’s services are covered by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and provided to affiliated camps free of charge in exchange for your investment in your own camp and active participation in our JCamp 180 community.
